PATH A NOTES & QUESTIONS

1

  • It may be beneficial for SEO to name this page as 'Home' or 'Shop All Products'. 'Shop' may not be as effective description.

  • that would be perfect we can call it Shop All Products

2

  • Are the product collections complete? All Products (689)this is complete the rest is not sorted well. is there a way to extract and maniulate this data in a file or does it all have to be done manually one by one., Book Holders (0), Key Fob (0), Masks (652), Pleated Masks (3), Scrub Caps (652), Scrub Tops (652), Zippy Clutch (652), Begonia Bag (?), Custom Scrub Top (this is the one that will stay and live by itelse becAUSE SCRUB TOPS HAVE TO BE MADE WITH STORE BOUGHT MATERIAL OR ON PREORDER WHICH CAN TAKE 6 TO 8 WEEKS) NO they have to be completed that is something I need to complete

  • Only the Shop (All Products) page, a filter can be placed called 'Filter by product' in addition to the top nav drop-down. When the visitor expands this menu, they will see a checklist as shown below. This filter will not appear when the visitor navigates to product pages as products do not exist as properties of other products.

Filter by Product

  • Are the category collections completed? Age 3-6 (0), Age 7-12 (0), Characters (236), Disney (78), Food / Beverage Masks (29), French Seam Pillow Cases (652), Holidays (116), Large (4), Marvel (3), Masks (652), Men (3), NE Sports (17), Small (1), Teenage (0), TV Shows (27), Women (0)

  • Does it make more sense to add the following categories as options on the product page as shown below? Age 3-6 (0), Age 7-12 (0), Large (4), Men (3), Small (1), Teenage (0), Women (0)

4

  • Are visitors able to submit information about size using this path? Is there a size attribute attached to products so, for example, if the visitor checks ages 3-6 in the 'Shop' page, how do you know the visitor requested that size? Is there a version of an applicable product in your inventory that is defined as 'ages 3-6'? For example, a woman wants to order matching masks for her and her daughter. Her daughter is 4. Would she use size filters to get to the product version that is sized for women and, then, use the size filter to get to the product version that is sized for ages 3-6? I imagine these are two different products, with two different product skus.

OR, does the woman click on the product featuring the desired fabric and, then, click on the womens size option, add to cart, click on the 3-6 size option, add to cart?
